Can you believe it? The 2013 Dad 2.0 Summit begins 11 weeks from right now.
[pause for effect]
As we near the Big Weekend, we’ve got a flurry of announcements about programming and sponsorship planned over the next few weeks. And the first one is this: A first look at our programming schedule for Dad 2.013!
One thing you’ll notice is that, this year, we’ve pared down our breakout sessions and planned more programming for the big ballroom, in front of the entire conference. That way, when it’s time to decide which sessions to attend, you’ll have fewer painful choices to make.
If you’re making your travel plans now (and kudos if you are), you’ll want to arrive in Houston (either IAH or HOU) by mid-afternoon on Thursday, January 31, 2013. That way, you’ll get to the Four Seasons in time for the Great Dad Cook-Off, where four semi-finalists will compete for a spectacular $3,000 cash prize. (Remember: All semi-finalists receive free airfare and a free room at Dad 2.0; if you haven’t yet entered, you have until midnight Eastern on Monday, November 19; details are here. Get on it, chefs!)
Our programming officially ends late Saturday afternoon, so if you have plans for the Super Bowl, you’ll have plenty of time to get where you need to be before gametime on Sunday evening. And if you’re going to the game (lucky you!), New Orleans is a very short and convenient flight away.
We’ll be filling in more details shortly. Stay tuned to all our usual conduits for more information!
