It’s been a great week to be an online parent. If you were in Atlanta for the 2014 Mom 2.0 Summit (which was attended by a record number of dads), you know that the first annual Iris Awards were off-the-charts fun. We were proud to take part in the proceedings, and prouder still of all the dads–including Jon Armstrong, Charlie Capen, Andy Herald, Life of Dad, Whit Honea, and XY Media–among the nominees.
And then, on Friday, we announced that Dad 2.015 will take place February 19-21, 2015, at the Westin San Francisco Market Street Hotel!
We’re thrilled to bring our conference to California, in an excellent location smack-dab in the middle of one of our favorite cities. And to celebrate, we’re launching our Golden Gate Sale, where tickets to Dad 2.015 are priced at only $129!
There are two very important developments about all this:
- You may recall that, right after Dad 2.014 concluded in New Orleans, we launched a leap-of-faith $99 sale on tickets for Dad 2.015, and within 48 hours 40% of our tickets were gone.
- With this new sale, and the date and venue made official, around two-thirds of our tickets are now spoken for.
That’s right. When you consider that we didn’t even announce the 2014 venue until Father’s Day last year, it’s amazing to think that, with Father’s Day still a month off, our plans are set–and we’re already two-thirds sold out.
The point is: If you’re definitely coming to San Francisco next February, ticket prices won’t be any lower than right now. This sale ends on Friday, May 16, at 11:59pm EDT, and when the ticket window opens again, on June 1, the price will be $199.
And here’s the best part: If you buy a ticket now and are later chosen as a speaker (or are in any way entitled to a free conference pass), we’ll refund your ticket price. And if you later find out you can’t use your ticket, we’ll help you find a new home for it.
So there’s absolutely no downside to reserving your space now and lock in $70 of savings–especially since we’re going to sell out a lot earlier this year, and we don’t want you to be locked out.
This is going to be our best year yet. Hope to see you there!
