Hello, and welcome to 2015! We hope you had a wonderful holiday break, and we look forward to seeing you in exactly 45 days. (That’s right, we’re inside 50 and moving fast!)

In case you missed it, our last news of 2014 involved our hotel giveaway, brought to you as always by our Title Sponsor, Dove Men+Care. Three lucky winners will receive three free nights at the Park Central San Francisco (more on that in a minute), and on December 23 we announced that our second winner is the wonderfully talented Morgan Shanahan! Special thanks once again to Dove Men+Care for the fantastic giveaway, and congratulations to Morgan for being the luckiest woman alive. The third and final winner will be announced on January 26.

Now what’s all this business about the hotel name?
On January 23, the Westin San Francisco Market Street will be leaving the Starwood family and be officially known as the Park Central San Francisco. The change won’t alter our experience one bit; all previous reservations are secure, and the excellent service will stay the same. In keeping with this name change, the hotel has put together an updated booking site. Please use it from now on–and if you haven’t done it yet, you now have two reasons to book, pronto:

  • It will likely benefit you to be in the system before the changeover, to avoid any transition glitches, and
  • The last day to use the conference discount for booking a room is Friday, February 6. After that, the discounted rate of $199/night will be gone, baby, gone.

Please book your room ASAP, and contact us if you experience any difficulties with the process!

Announcing our six scholarship recipients!
Here’s a big hearty Thank You to all those who contributed to the inaugural Dad 2.0 Scholarship Fund. None of this would have been possible without your support, and since we exceeded our initial goal by nearly 50%, we’re able to give a total of six applicants a $500 scholarship and a free ticket to attend the 2015 Dad 2.0 Summit! Your efforts proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that we do indeed take care of our own.

The following six gentlemen will be joining us, thanks to the generosity of many:

Thank you all so much, for helping expand our community and laying the foundation for many years of intra-community support!
