You may have noticed that, this year, we’ve expanded our ticket options. For four years, we’ve kept prices as low as possible, especially for the bloggers and media professionals that are the backbone of our community. The price doesn’t come close to covering the actual cost per person, but we’re able to offer it because of our amazing group of sponsors—a roster that, fortunately, gets larger every year.
As interest in sponsoring Dad 2.0 Summit has increased, we hear from many new companies who are eager to engage with dads, but aren’t ready or able to sponsor. We understand that full sponsorship isn’t always feasible, and that some decision-makers need to experience the event in person before committing to us more formally. For those organizations, we’ve created the Business Ticket, which involves and invites more brands in our conversation, and helps keep blogger costs low despite our increasing costs. And to protect our formal sponsors, Business Ticket holders (like all ticket holders) must agree to observe our Sponsorship Policy.
There’s also an important consideration: Last year, after our Scholarship Fund helped send six guys to Dad 2.015 in San Francisco, we were honored to rename it in memory of Oren Miller. And we’re very happy to report that, even though Dad 2.016 is still six months away, the Miller Grant fund has already outraised last year’s effort! We want to keep this momentum going, so whatever ticket you buy, we’ve offered a second version that includes a $20 donation to the Oren Miller Dad 2.0 Scholarship Fund.
