Welcome to Summit Week! If you’ve been reading our newsletters, Facebook updates, tweets, and Instagram shares, then you’re aware of just how packed our conference schedule is. That’s why we’re here to help with this quick summary of what Dad 2.017’s sponsors are up to.
Returning Title Sponsor Dove Men+Care is all about the #RealStrength of modern fatherhood. This year, their large, custom suite will feature the now customary barber shop, clubhouse-style games, and a Tales of Heroes wall chronicling the men in our lives we admire. They’re also:
- Greeting all of us with the Welcome Party on Thursday evening;
- Bringing our Saturday morning keynoter Charles Tillman;
- Running the Friday morning #RealStrength OrangeTheory fitness session;
- Hosting the Friday evening Happy Hour; and
- Shifting the outdated perceptions of masculinity and fatherhood and #RealStrength on Instagram and Twitter.
Here’s a rundown of some key points to look for when you interact with all of our other sponsors this weekend:
|Kia Motors||Kia (#KiaDad) will shuttle you from the airport on Thursday, and you’ll be able to sign up for ride-and-drives with their fine automobiles at their large Marketplace space. They’re providing dessert for the Welcome Party, and they’ll have some great experiences to get you thinking about your favorite travel memories and planning the adventures yet to come.|
|Best Buy||After they take 50 attendees out for a drone experience, Best Buy will have lots of cool products and giveaways, and they’ll be on the lookout for future Blog Ambassadors. Will it be you? And while you’re chatting with them in their Marketplace spot, check out the big brains on the Geek Squad!|
|This year, our Marketplace is powered by Facebook, and in their suite they’ll be training you to utilize their Live, Marketplace, Groups, and Local tools to help you make the most of the world’s biggest social media platform. Plus, they’ll have some local craft beers available to taste on Friday afternoon.|
|Russell||Russell’s suite will feature their comfortable, durable, high-quality performance gear. They also want you to experience their products in action, so they’re hosting our first-ever Russell Run 2.0 on Saturday morning and following it up with their sponsored breakfast.|
|Rheem||Rheem has an extra-large Marketplace suite this year, and they’ve enlisted the help of HGTV’s Josh Temple to interview influencers for their All-Star team! Watch out also for their main stage moment, when they announce the winner of the Nest thermostat giveaway.|
|Hero Clean||Meet the CEO & founder of Hero Clean, Mike Eaton, as he shares his products in the Marketplace and his entrepreneurship story at the Roundtable workshops.|
|SmartyPants Vitamins||The good gummies at SmartyPants Vitamins have joined us as a Supporting sponsor this year, and they’re back to talk about their new line of probiotics and your kids’ guts. They’ll also help us kick off our busy Friday with a delicious breakfast.|
|FRIENDS OF DAD|
|BabyBjörn||We’ve worn them for years, now it’s time to meet the people behind BabyBjörn and share our #DadStories with them!|
|Gifted Movie||Director Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2, (500) Days of Summer) will talk about the new #GiftedMovie and then stick around to meet you. Yes, you.|
|Keeper Security||Today, more than ever, we need to protect our children online—and ourselves. Keeper Security’s CEO Darren Guccione will also moderate a roundtable workshop about all of your cyber and password needs.|
|LEGO Systems||Hoping to see the #LEGOBatmanMovie on opening weekend? After hosting our closing toast, LEGO will take some lucky attendees to see the film.|
|Plum Organics||Plum Organics invites you to Do Your Part(ner). Just in time for Valentine’s Day, this social movement is meant to empower parents to make love … a priority, offering a new and authentic perspective on the realities of intimacy, sex and relationships after kids.|
|fodada apparel||That awesome Dad 2.0 t-shirt you got at registration? fodada made that.|
Please make sure you spend some time with each of our wonderful sponsors and share your interactions with them on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtags provided—and don’t forget to add #dad2summit to everything you post!
